Gas in the Mediterranean

The Maltese EU Presidency together with Eurogas and MEPs Miriam Dalli, Elisabetta Gardini and Manolis Kefalogiannis are organising a Policy Seminar at the European Parliament on Gas in the Mediterranean.

The seminar is taking place on 8 March 2017 from 4-6 pm at the European Parliament, Brussels.

Its focus is on the role of gas in the Mediterranean as a catalyst for better neighbourhood relations, socioeconomic progress and sustainable development.

The seminar’s objective is to discuss both gas supply and route diversification, and to highlight other positive developments that gas can bring to the region, for EU Member States as well as non-EU countries.

The European Parliament has been chosen for this discussion in order to involve the elected representatives of EU citizens more, at present and in the future.

Please note that this event is held under the auspices of the Maltese EU Presidency.

Please note that the number of seats is limited and therefore will be attributed on a first come first served basis. To register please email the office of MEP Kefalogiannis by Monday, 27 February 2017 at manolis.kefalogiannis-office@europarl.europa.eu.

If you are not in possession of an EP access badge, and you need accreditation to enter the building, please specify it in your registration e-mail.
